GREAT!!!! I really loved it! 5 STARS PLUS!!!! This installment in the series really threw some kinks into the mix. Lots of new developments and twist you never saw coming. Though the book lacked some of the steamy scenes I have come to expect from the Lords it did not disappoint. The overall storyline just keeps getting better and better. Showalter has done an excellent job of putting her own spin on religion and mythology. LOVE IT!

Gideon oh you sexy beast. He is all sorts of tie me down and spank me hot! I really enjoyed this installment of LOTU. It was full of humor yet also stayed true to the sexy demon lord romance. Scarlet was a bit annoying at times. I just hate when they keep going back and forth mentally about to stay or not to stay. Just shut it! He is effing hot, you want him and honey you know you ain't going any where so deal with it already. I had moments of "damn" and I like that. I like twist an unexpected events to happen in these novels. To many times do I feel like I'm rereading the same book with different names but Showalter has imho done a great job of keeping me enthralled by the sexy lords with there individuality  and also with the storyline as a whole. I really enjoyed each of her LOTU books so far and can't wait for more.

We learn more details about the characters who are in the upcoming books and it sets the scene for Amun's book, which is next, for sure. There are so many side stories brewing it leaves you withering for more. I know that Galen is hot for Legend but haven't heard if there is a book for them so I suspecting it will play out as a side story through several more of the following books. I am dieing to know how this will all play out and hate I have to wait a whole year. *sigh*

The most intriguing and surprising part of this one is when the demons pull free from Gideon and Scarlet and go at it like porn stars. That was a new for the series and I actually found it nice. I mean It is neat that the demons were in love with each other regardless of the hosts. I also like that it is setting the scene for more glimpse of the demons and their psychology.

Dark Elves 1: Taken by Jet Mykles
Pretty good. 
Introduces a race of Dark Elves that were made by a Goddess as sex toys and their story of how they must find their Truemate and procreate. I was pleasantly surprised not only did this book sizzling it also was a romantic love story.

When Wizards Rule by Lora Leigh (Wizard Twins Book Two)

I liked this one a lot more than the first. The world in this book starts to open and give you a better picture of the magick and wonder it contains. Unlike the first one it has a decent storyline and opens up the floor for the mystery evil that is descending on the Sorceresses and Wizards.
As for the sex scenes (always my favorite part of course) they are pretty good. They have a bdsm undertone to them and they Twins seem to be all the Alpha Male I have come to expect in my smut. I am interested to see how this story will unfold....

Menage a Magick by Lora Leigh (Wizard Twins Book One)

Menage a Magick was a good base, I guess, for the story to follow but it was short and I found the main female character annoying.

Blood Deep by Sharon Page (Blood Series Book Three)

A lot like the last. Wrapped up the loose scenes and had some really good moments. Nothing stuck out in particular in this one that I can think of but I really enjoyed it.

Blood Rose by Sharon Page (Blood Series Book Two)

Once again I liked the book but felt it was a little fluffy. I like fluffy sometimes so it worked for me. M/F/M and I little M/M vibe as well. Great love story. One thing that was different was a scene where she takes both men in her quim at once. IMHO I didn't find it hot actually I kinda thought it was a little ewwww. I mean if you can take 2 cocks at once you might just have a little looseness going, lol. I did like that the heroes in this installment got a little sexual with each other as well towards the end. It felt right for this storyline. Pretty good, pretty good.

Blood Red by Sharon Page (Blood Series Book One)

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. It really has a bit of all sexual avenues in it (M/M/F, M/M, F/F, Orgy, and even a little BSDM) and I found that they all were done in a very tasteful manner. Not once did I feel disconnected from the romance aspect of the story and that is normally what seems to happen when I read a book centered on a threesome romance. It contains a M/M scene that is very intriguing with a bit of voyeur kink. All in all I liked it a lot! It has a really good storyline and the characters all have some depth to them. The Demon Twins are HOTT and tragically in need of the love that they find with Althea. The ending though a bit heavy on the HEA, I still really liked because who doesn't love a great happy ending!

Vampire Queen Series Quickie

VQS Bk 1 : The Vampire Queens Servant
Not what I expected at all but a good story none the less. I had a hard time during a few scenes because I felt that it was hear trenching. I will read the next one and probably the series.

VQS Bk 2 : Mark of the Vampire Queen
I loved this one! This one has the HOTTEST scenes out of the whole series. It is full of naughty naughty acts and some that make you say hmmmmm. It has an unpredictable twist ending but I loved it all the same.

VQS Bk 3 : A Vampire's Claim
This one was really a good read. It brought out a lot of emotions that the first two did not seem to do for me. It was more on the romance side and I enjoyed that   about it. Plus after book 2 you will be dying to read more about the well endowed Aussie and Lady D.

                                      VQS Bk 4 : Beloved
THIS BOOK WAS A VERY HEART BREAKING BUT SWEET READ! II LOVE the Hell out of Lord Mason. He is by far my favorite male in all the books of this series. The only thing that the book had a lack of was the intense sex scene but because of the nature of their story it felt right. LOVED THIS ONE!

VQS Bk 5 : Vampire Mistress
I do not know what I expected with this one. I will say it it was better than I thought. I thought it was very tasteful and the scenes flowed well. The m/m/f scenes are done very well. The book sets you up for a great story but that is mainly the only thing it does. The ending kinda leaves you feeling unresolved till August. Overall- not as steamy but worth the read.

A 2 for 1 Special

Raine: Lords of Satyr
I read this one last night and I must say I am bewildered by my own thoughts. It's heroine is a hermaphrodite, meaning having both male and female genitals, and both  are fully functional. There is a scene in the book were she is banging a Shimmerskin -her penis to its vajayjay and Raine was behind her penetrating her vajayjay. It was like nothing I have read or seen before. The question lies is- What did you think? After reading reviews this book it is for sure on the hate/ love level. Many are simply disgusted and think it is beyond the perimeters of even an erotica romance. I, however, found the book desirable, different and yet simply desirable. It kept me on my toes wanting to see what kinky situation I would find next. IMHO I think people should chill out! Just because you find something different sexy doesn't mean you are going to grow an extra genital and start plowing everything you see. I am excited to read the 3rd installment tonight and seeing what the lovely Ms Amber has cooked up in that one.

LOTU- Men After My Own Heart

Oh Gena! You have done it again. I just spent the last few nights ready the first four LOTU (Lords of the Underworld) books along with all the extra ebooks. I am not dissapointed. They are super hot, super alpha and super bad ass. I am really into it.

      I think the book for Torin is going to be kick ass. Come on a virgin for thousands of years and not even able to touch another person. Just know this when he does finally get to get some action it is going to be explosive, im sure! No word yet when and if he will get his own title but come on I am sure he will.

    Out of the books out now I am not sure who I loved the best. I am a sucker for them all. I really liked Reyes but I think she could have brought the cutting thing into a more sexy BDSM light. The seen where he jacks off in the bathroom and stabs down into the bone kinda made me wanna yak but i get it.

   I also love that Anya is such a funny character. She truly gets the best lines. She is my kinda gal. 

    Can't wait till the next 3 installments coming this summer!

Well- What can I say besides Holy Hell! I loved this book! I am just so surprised because I honestly thought only Vampires could be such a turn on. E turned me, what can I say? Hot, heavy, dangerous, in the heat of battle, tear your panties and screw type lovin'. I really ate it up! I am so looking forward to tonight where I get into Shade (book2). I am thinking this just might be my new number one!

Kinky Little Nymphs!

The Nymph King- Well I didn't think I was really going to be into the whole Atlantis theme that this book has but I gave it a shot and yep I am happy I did! I really enjoyed it. I think that the last few chapters made the book for me. I mean not only do you get a few steamy sex scenes but a virginity taken,  along with some bondage too! who couldn't love that? This is the 2nd Gena Showalter book I have read. I read Seduced the Darkness Saturday (will post on that later). I am really diggin' her. I think she so far has pulled me in with her upfront, first chapte,r steam and kept me with well written story and sexy action. Next in her list TBR -Vampire Bride. Keep em' coming Gena :)

I really enjoyed the series. Read it just after The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I was skeptical at first b/c everyone was saying its jst like BDB but not as good. I beg to differ. I ♥ it. I did see similarities but that goes along with the theme. I ♥ romance/alpha males/sexy fangs/ SEX to go along maybe not in that order.
